Triple S Solutions supplies GWC USA Pressure Seal Gate, Globe, and Check Valves engineered for high pressure, high temperature service in power generation, industrial, and process applications. For lower pressure service see our cast steel gate and globe valves.

Designed in accordance with ASME B16.34 with optional API 600 compliance, these valves are available in Class 600, 900, 1500, and 2500. The pressure seal bonnet design provides increased sealing force as internal pressure rises, making them well suited for demanding steam and critical service environments.

Performance Advantages

High Pressure & High Temperature

Pressure Seal valves are intended for high pressure and high temperature applications. Available in Class 600 through 2500, they meet ASME B16.34 requirements and provide cold working pressures as outlined in the pressure temperature rating tables.

Energizing Pressure Seal

The pressure seal bonnet joint remains tight under all operating conditions because sealing pressure increases as internal line pressure rises. The segmental thrust ring absorbs thrust loads while a hardened stainless steel protective ring prevents deformation of the soft metallic gasket.

Installation and Maintenance Efficiency

Deep stuffing boxes provide enhanced stem sealing and allow optional lantern rings. Swing eyebolts and gland flanges facilitate repacking. The gasket can be removed freely without damage to the sealing area in the body.

Reduced Operating Torque

Large high pressure valves are equipped with hammer blow type handwheels and optional bearing insert type yoke sleeves. Ball bearings in the yoke sleeve can reduce operating torque by up to 50 percent on difficult to operate valves.
